Presentation
Adding Real Value: How to perform enterprise
architecture – not
just define it
Once a business case for enterprise architecture is made
in an organization, how does one structure and organize an
enterprise architecture practice within IT? This presentation
will address this question, and base recommendations on experience
in setting up enterprise architecture areas in large and
mid-sized clients. Specifically, the presentation will address:
1.
What are the specific structural components and teams of
an EA practice?
2. What type of resources and roles exist
in this structure?
3. How does EA interact with Business?
With IT - especially the application development and the
infrastructure operations areas?
4. What are the specific
deliverables from an enterprise-wide as well as a project-specific
basis?
Attendees will walk away with a clear understanding
of how to structure an EA practice that will be an effective
player in IT and business. Armed with specific examples of
checklists, role descriptions and responsibility matrices,
attendees will be able to put theory into practice immediately
back at their organizations.
