Biography
Tim Murfet is the Managing Partner of Accenture's Technology Consulting Group in Europe. In this role, he is responsible for 800 personnel that work across industry segments implementing complex, leading edge technology solutions for our European clients. Key focus areas of this group include technical architecture, infrastructure, security, business intelligence and networking.

Since joining Accenture in 1988, Mr Murfet has specialised in the Financial Services industry focusing on large architecture delivery, IT strategy, and IT organization design and implementation. His clients include the London Stock Exchange, Visa Europe, GE Capital, AXA, Woolwich, Alliance & Leicester and several leading banks. He became a partner in 1999.

Prior to joining Accenture, Murfet spent 7 years in the data communications industry working in the UK and US. He holds a bachelor of science in mathematics from the University of Birmingham.

Based in London, he is married and has two children. His hobbies include listening to rock music, football, vegetable gardening, and cooking.
