Biography
Kurt brings more than 20 years of experience to his role as Managing Director, Founder, and Chief Technologist for GCG.  His professional history includes technology and market strategy, analysis of technology impact on business models, systems architecture integration and engineering, software development, identity management and information security. He is widely recognized as a visionary for Internet Strategy, systems integration, and innovation. Kurt has also published widely in the fields of systems engineering and architecture, with over forty papers.  His career includes positions as Managing Director and Partner for KPMG Consulting and CSC Consulting.

His roles have included chief architect for a new prime brokerage business, chief architect for over a dozen Internet-based business solutions in financial services; Internet technology pioneer in architecture, development, standards, and deployment; and leader of architectural and performance modeling and simulation for a European supercomputer start-up.

Kurt earned a B.S.cum laude and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech.
