Presentation
From Hardware to Wetware
The Enterprise Architecture Profession presently seems uncertain as to whether we are about Information Technology Architecture in the enterprise or Enterprise Architecture which includes information technology.

Starting with the information technology architecture and expecting anything of value to emerge other than a group of satisified engineers is a mistake. We need to start with the culture of the organisation and work our way through organisational architectecture, decision making, information architecture, business modeling and finally information technology.

So is Enterprise Architecture just another fashion fad? Or is something more important happening?

In this session we wil look at the context of enterprise architecture as a means of understanding an organsiation’s DNA as well as providing a platform for innovation and experimentation.
