Business System Architecture: Crafting Innovative Business Solutions Through Pictures
While business-IT integration is necessary, it may not be sufficient for competitiveness in today s environment. The demands and complexities of today s business environment warrant business-IT fusion whereby business and IT are not just integrated but are fused holistically together with other strategic resources into innovative business solutions. Planning the fusion, however, can be a complex and challenging task. Business System Architecture (BSA), a pictorial model depicting business-IT fusion as an integrated set of key processes, is a useful tool for this crafting task.

This session, based on research and practice, explains an approach for developing BSA and deploying it in the crafting of innovative business solutions.
