Srikanth Narasimhan
is responsible for enabling architecture alignment in the Enterprise
Architecture organization of Cisco Systems, driving the target
state IT architecture, frameworks and Principles. He has more
than 19 years of experience in telecom, banking, financial
services and high tech industries architecting and implementing
enterprise solutions.
Prior to joining Cisco Systems, Srikanth was Vice President
of Engineering for eCredit, a Massachusetts based developer
of Corporate Credit and Collections applications. At eCredit,
Srikanth drove the product development from the inception
and implemented enterprise Credit and Collections solutions
at several fortune 100 companies. Prior to that, Srikanth
served as a business systems consultant for Arthur Andersen.
Prior to Arthur Andersen, Srikanth spent five years in the
telecom industry architecting several large integrated voice/data
systems.
Srikanth holds a B.E. in Computer Science from Regional
Engineering College, Trichy, India and is TOGAF-8 Certified.

will discuss the key aspects of defining the building blocks
and EA patterns from a practitioner’s perspective.

for enterprise architecture?
- How do we approach defining and evolving building
blocks of enterprise architecture, from a practitioner’s
standpoint?
EA Patterns:
- What are Architecture and Design Patterns?
- Examples of Business Architecture Pattern
- How do we use the Patterns in Architecture Views?
The presentation will conclude with a brief on how to measure
the value of building blocks and EA patterns towards a ‘successful
architecture’.
