Presentations
Pre-Conference Meeting:
Introduction to TOGAF (The Open
Group Architecture Framework)
Conference:
Building the Enterprise
Continuum:
Modeling the Enterprise Leveraging Reusable Assets,
Reference Models, Building Blocks, and Architecture Patterns
All models are wrong, but some models are useful. The
ability to create useful models is the essence of enterprise
architecture. This presentation proposes methods to enhance
TOGAF’s Enterprise Continuum to enable more effective
modeling and analysis of architectures using reference models, building blocks,
and architecture patterns. It will also propose an Architecture Information
Base to serve as a repository for architecture assets such as building blocks,
standards, principles, viewpoints, and patterns.
