Presentation
Assessment of Business
Value of IT System Scenarios
This presentation describes an ongoing project for estimating business value
of potential future IT system architecture scenarios. The project is aiming
to consolidate a presently wild-grown IT-system portfolio of asset management
systems within a large North European electric utility. Currently, the gap
between indicators for business performance and indicators for system quality
is large. Moreover, the trustworthiness of scenario assessments are routinely
neglected. This presentation is focused on the method that has been developed
that produces an index score with credibility estimate of the business value,
based on business performance indicators, for IT system scenarios.
