Enterprise Architecture: The State of the Art
The practice of enterprise architecture (EA) has evolved significantly over the last 20 years. Intensified demands for agility and an increasingly challenging market environment will drive that evolution even further. A small group of companies, about 20 percent of the Global 2000, have institutionalized enterprise architecture as a strategic planning discipline that helps them meet the challenges of today’s (and tomorrow’s) business environment. These “Enterprise Architecture Elite” companies have best practices that can benefit us all.

Key Issues:

  • What are the characteristics of the Enterprise Architecture Elite?
  • What are the EA best practices of these companies?
  • What benefits are these companies deriving from their practice of EA?
  • How can you adopt these best practices and enjoy the benefits?
