In our Members Councils meetings we invite members from all Forums and Working Groups of The Open Group to share issues and concerns that are common across the Forums and WGs.

• Working Groups Update
  The Councils are now the home for 4 Working Groups, each of which operates independently under Forum rules. Each WG leader will update members on progress over the past 3 months and expected developments in the next 3 months:
  • Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) WG
  • Semantic Interoperability WG
  • Homeland Security WG
  • Intelligent Agents WG
• Planning for Conferences in 2007
  We have our Conferences scheduled for 2006, and are now planning for 2007. We want members' feedback on our proposed Conference dates and locations.
• Election for Member Representatives on the Governing Board
  The 2-year term for the current Member Representatives ends in July 2006, so this will be our heads-up for this election.
