Presentation

The Practice of Identity Management Architecture

This presentation will discuss the patterns and practice fundamental to Identity Management Architecture. It is based on the premise that the enterprise architect's role is to populate business solutions with technology appropriate to the direct support of identifiable business objectives. It will explore the differences between Enterprise and Federated Identity Management; illustrate identity lifecycle management; and raise the business, regulatory, and privacy issues that may serve as drivers to enterprise scale deployment. This presentation will discuss both administrative and technical scalability, and offer a model by which the role of Identity Management is understood in the larger context of Enterprise Access Management.
