Presentation

SAML and its Positive Impacts on Business and Users
SAML has been evolving as an even more important standard used in the industry for the purposes of cross domain access control preserving what user information is shared and single sign-on.  The enterprise organization serving as the central business organization can serve as an authentication authority, or can defer to one of its “trusted partners” for the business campaign in the example of multiple trusted partners.

A demo will be shown of how an organization and their partners may use SAML for cross domain access control with secure authentication/authorization enabling users to access services securely and privately with the added benefit of use SAML assertions.  SAML makes it possible for otherwise disparate enterprises to recognize one another as trusted parties and defer authentication of a requestor (typically a user) to one another.  This facilitates transparent single sign-on, without requiring a single set of credentials across multiple disparate enterprises.
