PresentationRequirements for a Common Core IdentityAlthough customer and inter-company collaborations are not new to the aerospace industry, the Internet has caused in explosion in expectations for improved global communications among aerospace and defense trading partners. One impediment to the achievement of these expectations has been the cost and complexity of identity management across company and government agency boundaries. Some significant percentage of this cost and complexity could be eliminated by the industry-wide adoption of a standards-based approach to identity assertion that solves a number of problems with current prevalent approaches. This presentation focuses on the requirements to be considered in the formulation of such an identity representation.
