Summary

Throughout the day we had informative presentation from all constituents of the wireless data value chain. A full webcast of the sessions is available.

At the end of the day we held a panel session when members of the audience took the opportunity to ask questions of our speakers and panellists.

Outputs

Discussions with PassONE resulted in agreement to pursue a liaison with the MMF, and an opportunity for the Open Group to help them define the standards required to achieve their objectives, and to provide Conformance, Testing and Certification against those standards.

Several of our speakers, whose organisations are not currently members of the MMF, are now considering membership in order for them to participate in the activities to resolve the issues discussed during the day.

Next Steps

The audience were all invited to attend the full-day Secure Mobile Architecture meeting on Thursday 17th October, and to help review the work to date on the documentation of Issues and Requirements.
