Objective of Meeting
To review a number of proposals for elevating the profile of TOGAF in the market.
Summary
The following topics were covered:
- Certification Policy and Overview: An introduction to TOGAF certification, and an
overview of the various proposals
- TOGAF Tools Certification: Developing a definition, and a supporting certification
program, for what it means for a tool to support TOGAF.
- Other proposals. The following proposals are closely inter-related:
- TOGAF Training Certification: developing a definition of a standard syllabus, and a
supporting certification program, for a "TOGAF Training Course".
- TOGAF Professional Services Certification: developing a definition, and a supporting
certification program, for a "TOGAF Professional Services Provider".
- TOGAF Practitioner Certification: developing a definition, and a supporting
certification program, for a "TOGAF Practitioner".
Outputs
There was agreement to focus on a "TOGAF-core", to support TOGAF
certification.
Next Steps
A working group will be set up to define this core ASAP.
