This three hour tutorial will describe why the UDEF open standard is different from data standards and how it enables any enterprise to reduce the costs and time associated with achieving systems interoperability. The tutorial will: identify the problem, explain the benefit of using a global open standard, describe the UDEF, explain why the UDEF is different from data standards, describe the key principles for mapping enterprise data to the UDEF, provide student exercises in mapping example enterprise data to the UDEF, example use cases and a demo video.
