Jon is responsible for all aspects of Veracode’s worldwide product management and product strategy initiatives. With over 25 years in the software industry, Jon has a long history of building, delivering and marketing industry leading software products and services.. He brings over 25 years of experience leading large R&D organizations with both Engineering and Product Management responsibility. Prior to joining Veracode was Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations at BladeLogic, which was acquired by BMC in April of 2008. While there, he was responsible for all aspects of engineering and support operations, including product development, product management and customer support.
Prior to joining BladeLogic, Stevenson served as the founding vice president of engineering for AppIQ – now HP, acquired in October 2005. During his six years at AppIQ, Stevenson was a key driver for all aspects of product development of the market leading storage area network management platform. He was also responsible for customer support, training and professional services.
Prior to AppIQ/HP, Jon was the executive vice president and general manager of the Mechanical Computer-Aided Design (MCAD) group at Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), a leading provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software. At PTC, he led a team of 2,000 and a business of $770 million/year, and was responsible for multiple aspects of the MCAD business, including product marketing, customer support, professional services, indirect distribution and software development. Prior to PTC, Jon was the managing director of Shape Data in Cambridge, UK, where he was responsible for the development and marketing of Parasolid, the industry-leading MCAD solid modeling kernel. Before PTC, Jon spent 13 years in the UG Solutions business unit of EDS and McDonnell Douglas.
He holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Delaware and an MS degree in mechanical engineering from California State University, Long Beach. |
