Mark McCormick leads the consulting practice and operations at Accelare. Mark brings extensive experience in business strategy, business process reengineering, application development, and financial management to help clients overcome their challenges. Mark is a leading expert on effectively applying information technologies to achieve a broad spectrum of client business objectives. Mark’s client work has contributed to several books, including X-Engineering the Corporation by Jim Champy, and Re-Think: A Business Manifesto for Cutting Costs and Boosting Innovation by Ric Merrifield and spoken on the transformative power of business process and capability management in a number of client and industry-sponsored forums.
Prior to founding Accelare, Mark was director and head of operations for a Perot Systems business unit and worked with clients creating and implementing their e-commerce strategies. Working directly for Jim Champy, co-author of Reengineering the Corporation, Mark extended the usefulness of reengineering as a business planning tool and management framework. This work has evolved into Accelare’s Performance Framework, which has been adopted by several companies, including Microsoft, as their business problem solving approach.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.
