An Eco-System of Trust Services

One of Hewlett-Packard's main corporate strategies is to develop and market technologies that enable new kinds of IT applications to be delivered as e-services.

The Trusted E-Services Laboratory in HP's corporate research lab in Bristol is researching the requirements for trust in e-business and developing prototype services that meet these. Our vision of the future includes eco-systems of co-operating e-services that provide and enhance trust between the partners in an internet business relationship. These e-services operate at a number of levels, from primitives such as cryptographic key management for secure messaging to high-level services such as product/supplier recommendation.

The presentation describes our vision and how it fits current and future business processes, and also covers the current status of the prototype development work.
